About STAR
STAR is
Alabama’s Assistive Technology Act program and is funded under the Assistive
Technology Act of 1998 as amended in 2004. The mission of
STAR is
to increase the provision of, access to, and funding for assistive technology
for Alabamians of all ages and all disabilities through a variety of
comprehensive activities and services available statewide.
